Job Purpose:

To provide exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in the registration and query handling of claims

Job Outputs:

  • Adherence to claims notification and registration process

  • Liaising with insurers to follow up on outstanding documents
  • Reactive policy underwriting

  • Adherence to risk and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • 120 FAIS credits on NQF level 4 or a full FSCA aligned qualification as per legislation, is an advantage
  • Regulatory exam (RE5) advantageous

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years' applicable Short term Insurance Customer Service and Claims experience
  • Minimum 6 months Contact Centre experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Multilingual, including English
  • Problem solving skills
  • Empathetic
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Computer literate (MS office including Outlook)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
