We cover the entire product development and life cycle - from design, simulation, software and hardware development, through testing and validation, homologation and commissioning, to vehicle and system maintenance.
This is a varied role, where you will be responsible for the following:
Produce a detailed project plan to allow governance of train upgrades and testing schedule, for all interested parties.
Ensure train upgrades, both software and hardware are executed in line with the project plan.
Provide the inputs to all the governance requirements including planning frameworks, TICARs, and briefing material.
Support readiness work for future stages of the project including DITLO exercises, planning fleet utilization etc.
Planning and management of train cleaning in the COS as COVID mitigation.
Create TAS sheets to ensure trains are utilized in accordance with the project plan and maintenance requirements.
Manage the overall plan for the mechanical conversion, single car and unit test and software upgrade activities.
Review, plan, schedule and execute modifications along with contractual commitments in line with FA plan
- Understanding of RFLI rulebook
- Understand of TT&C planning process
- Planning of test logistics – Signals/train/ops
- Detailed understanding of current COS operation and planned phases to passenger operation
- Detailed knowledge of train data allowing for trend analysis to support prioritisation
